Hedgebuilders is a non-profit Christian organization that offers server-side web filtering that works with most dialup, DSL, cable and free access providers. The first two weeks of service are free, with a $30 charge every six months afterward. There is also a $10 setup fee for new accounts. Hedgebuilders offers three levels of filtering protection. Level One filtering allows you to turn the filter on or off at will. Level Two provides protection that cannot be turned off and allows access to filtered search engines Excite, Ah-ha and Searchopolis. Level three offers access to search engines such as Yahoo, Lycos, Looksmart and Snap that are blocked in Level Two access. Link to Hedgebuilders for more information.
