Description:
What's worse than being stuck indoors with a bunch of over-energized kids? Being stuck inside in your tiny motel room. But wait, there is hope, and fun can be found on the inside.
If your motel/hotel has a pool, then that's a no-brainer, although it will probably be a bit crowed. If your motel has a workout center, maybe the kids can release some of their energy on the treadmill or Stairmaster.
But tiny motel rooms don't have to be the pits if you come on vacation a bit prepared. Start by packing a deck of cards and a few of their favorite board games. Order room service and have a picnic on the floor. Write and send postcards to everyone you know, this way you get out of the room for a bit to go to the post office. If it's warm outside, put on your raincoat and grab your umbrellas and go splash around in the rain.
