Description:
Playing in the pool can be one of the greatest ways to spend a vacation day with your kids. You can stay cool and get your exercise while having fun!

There are plenty of games you can play while in the pool without any additional props. One of my favorites as a kid was "Marco Polo" or "Blind Man's Bluff". Select one person to close their eyes and wander around the pool trying to find and tag another person. The others in the pool take turns saying "Marco Polo" or making noises to help the "blind" person to find them. Once you tag another person, it's that person's turn to be it.

Other games you can play without props include - underwater races across the pool, doing handstands or forward rolls, teaching your own water aerobics class, Simon says, or talking underwater.

If you want to go visit a pool store and pick up a few pool toys, you'll find water basketball, volleyball, ring toss, masks and snorkle equipment and much more.

Don't forget the sunscreen and never leave your children unattended in the water.
