Description:
Family time spent at the nearest park can feature fun-filled activities for everyone.

If you have very young children, you shouldn't have to look too far (no matter where youÆre vacationing) to find a public park with a swing set or playground area. And most parks have picnic areas, so be sure to pack a yummy picnic lunch.

For more physical activities like hiking, biking, in-line skating, and rappelling you'll want to stop by the local visitor's center or pick up a local paper to find which parks in your area offer a wider variety of activities or services, trails or paved pathways.
