Hmmm....hour and a half? Plus search.

Description:
"1776" is a musical. It stars William Daniels as John Adams (who was Mr. Feeney on "Boy Meets World"), Ken Howard as Thomas Jefferson, Blythe Danner as...either Mrs. Jefferson, or Abigail Adams (sorry Blythe; I forgot already!), Howard DaSilva as Benjamin Franklin...it's been years since I have seen "1776" on TV, but it does paint a very human face on the Founding Fathers, and I recall most of the music as having been entertaining. It may not enthrall the very young, but it's rated G.

Other comments or suggestions:
I found it at a website: http://www.geocities.com/TelevisionCity/Studio/8849/Moviemusicals/Liberty/1776.htm There are audio clips of songs, but those are melody only, lacking vocals. I was thinkin' about ordering, but there are 2 versions of it in VHS, both seeming quite similar, and I couldn't decide...that, plus the poppabear growled "rent it first!" and I have to admit that makes some sense...if I can find it locally...happy 4th, ya'll!
