Materials:
Cleaned coffee, soup and tuna fish can
Contact paper
Fabric
Ribbon
Trim
Cording
Scissors
Colored tape
Chop sticks
Hot glue gun
Hot glue sticks

Description:
Make some noise! Let everyone know that you love your independence.

Instructions:
1. Soak cans to clean and remove paper labels and let dry.
2. Choose a material to cover your cans.
3. If using contact paper: line the can up, roll the paper from one end to the other and cut excess off.
4. Use same method with fabric, first hot glue the can so the fabric will stick.
5. When rolling the material, hold the can in one hand, and with other hand stretch the material so it lays smoothly onto can.
6. Decorate each can with ribbon or trim and let cans set.
7. Tape the 3 cans together (open ends down) with the coffee can in the middle.
8. Measure the cording to fit around your neck reaching below your bellybutton.
9. Attach cording to the sides of the taped cans.
10. Secure tightly by taping around the entire rim of cans.
11. Practice your rhythm by beating with the chopsticks.
12. Play with pride.
