Materials:
Red, white and blue crepe paper Beads and ribbon Twine Colored tape
Description:
Ride along with your local parade and show your pride.
Instructions:
1. Take your 3 rolls of crepe paper to make a red, white and blue pattern.
2. Begin with red crepe paper.
3. Tie the end strip of the roll of red to the center spoke of the bike.
4. Weave the roll under and then around a spoke.
5. Remember to keep the weaving tight and close together.
6. Continue until you have circles around the wheel.
7. Tie the strip off.
8. Take the white crepe paper and tie the end strip next to where the red ended.
9. Weave a complete circle of white.
10. Tie the end off and begin with the blue crepe paper.
11. Repeat unit you have fully covered the spokes of your bike.
12. Do the other wheel.
13. String red, white and blue beads onto 8-inch pieces of twine.
14. Cut the red, white and blue ribbons into 8-inch strips.
15. Lay out 2 strips of tape - sticky side up.
16. Place the ribbon and beaded pieces onto each piece of tape.
17. Wrap around the bicycle handlebars.
18. Wrap with another piece of tape for security.
