Materials:
Cake flour Baking powder Salted butter Unsweetened chocolate Water Sugar Eggs Milk Vanilla Powdered sugar Confetti candies Mixing bowls Measuring cup Spoons Electric mixer Sauce pan Wooden spoon Whisk Spatula Cupcake baking pan Cupcake papers

This fun to make dessert is also perfect for the picnic basket!
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°.
2. Sift 1 3/4 cup of cake flour.
3. Add 3 teaspoons of baking powder and set aside.
4. Melt 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate in a double boiler or 2 sauce pans one with water below (adult only).
5. Stir in 5 tablespoons of water until creamy and set aside.
6. Cream 1/2 cup of butter.
7. Add 1 1/2 cup sugar and mix lightly.
8. Separate 4 eggs, put whites in one bowl, yolks in another.
9. Slowly add a little egg yolk and mix.
10. Repeat until all of egg yolk is added.
11. Add the cooled chocolate.
12. In 3 parts add the dry mixture to the butter.
13. Rotate with 1/2 cup of milk.
14. Mix batter fully after each portion of milk and dry mixture is added.
15. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla.
16. Whip egg whites with an electric mixer or whisk until stiff.
17. Fold into cake batter.
18. Put cupcake papers in cupcake pans.
19. Add batter 3/4 to top of paper.
20. Bake for 18-22 minutes.
Frosting:
21. Cream one stick of butter in a bowl.
22. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla.
23. Add 1/2 cup of powdered sugar.
24. Add 1 tablespoon of milk.
25. Repeat.
26. Thickly coat the frosting onto each cooled cupcake.
27. Add confetti candies or red, white, and blue sprinkles to your frosting.
28. Let set.
