4 Star Gift Idea Rating

Estimated time to complete activitiy:
2-3 days to put together, a month to collect.

Materials needed:
camera
clear contact paper
memory paper (like for scrapbooks)
a short written memory by each child in the class
glue stick or two-sided tape

Description:
A homemade, very personal scrapbook for your favorite teacher.

Instructions:
Take a photo of each child and have each child write a sentence describing a favorite memory from this year (this will make one page). Cut the memory out and using a glue stick or two-sided tape, put the memory and the photo on a sheet of bright memory paper. Cover front and back with clear contact paper. Get book bound at a Kinko's or a similar store in your area. Make a cover. Give to teacher.

Other suggestions or comments:
I purchased scrapbook paper (with a school themed boarder),
used my printer to make a decorative cover using colors and special fonts with Word. Obviously, you will need a color printer.
