Estimated time to complete activitiy:
take as long as you need to
Materials needed:
paper, pencil, crayons....
stationery
you decide...just get started!
Description:
Spend a little time in thought, and give honest praise for all that the teacher has done to help the child progress.
Instructions:
Little ones often stick to the homemade greeting card format. Older children and adults can be more expansive in their word choices. Computers are OK for that, and with font changes and special paper, any note becomes a work of art! Let the kids help select the paper.
Other suggestions or comments:
If a teacher has demonstrated uncommon ability and caring, write a letter that cites specific examples of how their teaching has had positive impact. Address it to the principal; give a Copy to the teacher, with a "your copy!" notation at the top. They seem to like that...
