Materials needed:
Oak tag/poster board
Exacto knife
Ruler
Contact paper
Stickers
Markers
Glitter pen
Pen
Silk scarf or square piece of suede
A note card

Description:
Give the gift that keeps on giving by making your teacher a set of inspirational cards. Each day your teacher can pull a card to use as a reminder to be the best he or she can be.

Instructions:
1. Chose a design of contact paper that you want to use for a deck of cards.

2. Adhere contact paper to oak tag or poster board.

3. Determine the size of the cards (any size is fine) measure with a ruler and pencil.

4. Cut the oak tag or poster board (parental supervision is needed when using an exacto knife).

5. Add stickers and use a glitter pen to make them extra special.

6. Create inspirational sayings to be printed on each card, e.g., ?I love to teach?, ?Today I will share a special story with my students?, ?Be all you can be?, ?Today is a beautiful day."

7. Write one special saying on each card.

8. Wrap the cards in a piece of silk or suede.

9. Include a note to your teacher with instructions of how to use the cards.

10. Let your teacher know how he or she was an inspiration to you.
