20 minutes - 1 hour

Materials needed:
cardstock, rubber stamps, ink pads, glue stick, invitation size envelopes, ribbons, buttons

Description:
A set of notecards are invalueable for teachers who often use them for thank you notes or to communicate with parents. Making them requires a simple investment and will result in a lot of fun for parents and children.

Instructions:
Cut cardstock to the size that would fit into the envelope.
Stamp on the cards using stamps and inkpads.
If desired, add layers of paper or buttons and ribbons as accessories.
Bundle a set of 8 cards and envelpes together and tie with a pretty ribbon for a lovely gift!

Other suggestions or comments:
Many craft stores have stamping books with examples of cards. You can get as simple or as elaborate as you want so it is a great activity for young and old children.
