Estimated time to complete activitiy:
30 minutes

Materials needed:
washable tablecloth from Walmart/Kmart
acrylic paint

Description:
Creating a tablecloth with a border that had the handprints of the students and wedding date, from that class.

Instructions:
One at a time, have children come up and put paint on their hands, then help them stamp around the edges of the tablecloth, making a border. Then each child is sent to wash their hands while the next one comes up and repeats the above step.

After the border has been created, the parent completes the tablecloth. In the Center of the border (keep this area reserve) put the date of the wedding, the names of the Bride and Groom, and something like "From the 200_-200_ 2nd grade class at 'ABC' Elementary School".

Other suggestions or comments:
You might consider doing this in the school colors and with a very durable table cloth that she can reuse in the classroom, or doing it in white and gold if she is taking it home.
