Description of support system:
If you're looking for love and support, the library is a great place to start. The library can expand your horizons, your support system and take you on adventures you never thought possible.
How it works:
Find out about your community and what it has to offer. Most libraries feature evening lectures on a variety of subjects for parents and daytime story hours for preschoolers. You should be able to get information about local playgroups, after-school activities for older children, resources for single-parents and home schooling. Libraries offer discounted and often free tickets to museums, aquariums, zoos and more that are local to your area.
You can use the library to research your home and property's history and neighboring real estate values. The library offers free Internet access, free video rentals, and books on tape. If you have a question, the library staff will get you the answer, research it for you or point you in the right direction to find it.
