Description of technique:
Before you begin feeding, make sure you are comfortable with adequate support for your back and for the arm under your baby. A breastfeeding pillow is a great tool to help you with this. There are various positions that you can try with your baby. Some holds are more comfortable than others for women who are recovering from a cesarean section. However you choose to position your infant, the baby's mouth should always cover the entire nipple, as well as a mouthful of the breast.
