Description of technique:
They have these bars out now that attach to the back of the child's bike so that you don't have to lean over and hold on to the seat. Saved my back big time. I'm sure there are several out there, but the one that we used is called the Ready Rider. My little boy was so scared, but once he got his Ready Rider for Christmas, he was really excited to learn. He learned in 3 days about 15mins a day. What a great product!!!

Instructions:
I installed the bar on the back of his bike and jogged beside him allowing him to lean and telling him to pull back when he leaned too far. I helped a lot at first and a little less until he understood what he needed to do.

Other comments or suggestions:
This is a must have for anyone teaching their child to ride a bike. Try searching for "bicycle training handle". You should be able to find something similar. Good luck!
