4 Star Technique Rating

Recommended age for technique:
From birth and up.

Description of technique:
Babies' sleep can be disrupted if they are too hot or too cold. Most babies are comfortable sleeping in a controlled room temperature between 68-70 degrees Fahrenheit. You will also want to dress your child for comfort. Babies should be dressed in layers and generally you will want to dress your infant in one more layer than you would normally wear. If your baby was born in the winter months, you should also keep her head covered for the first few weeks since this is where babies lose most of their body heat.
