4 Star Gift Idea Rating

Estimated time to complete gift:
Take All the time you need!

Description of gift:
Think of all the good times you have spent with Dad, and all the reasons he is special. Tell him Why he's a great guy.

Write all these wonderful things on strips of paper, as you think of them. Stuff the strips into a clean jar. Decorate the jar, if you wish; you could paint it, put stickers on it (hearts are always nice!), or just tie a ribbon around the top.

If Dad ever has a day he feels blue, all he has to do is pull something out of the jar and read it.

A wooden box or "cigar box" would also work.

Other suggestions or comments:
A good project for the entire family to work on, bit by bit. Filling the jar should be fun!

The strips of paper could be different colors, if desired...sort of like pulling a bit of sunshine from a Rainbow.
