Description of gift:
Give a gift from your heart. Write a story about your dad and let him know how much he means to you.

Materials:
Journal book
Markers
Colored pencils
Pen
Photographs
Memorabilia

Instructions:
1. Think of all the great things about your dad.
2. Write a list of things that are super special about your dad.
3. List memories of special experiences that youÆve had together.
4. Gather special memorabilia from places that youÆve gone together.
5. Design your story line by laying it out on scratch paper.
6. Think of everything that you want to include.
7. Start making notes about your dadÆs day and all that he does.
8. Continue to compile your ideas until you have enough to fill the pages of your journal book.
9. Write out your story in pencil.
10. Leave room for photos, drawings, and collages that will go along with the book.
11. Once you have it written, you can go back and trace it in pen.
12. Begin filling the empty pages with special drawings, designs, collages, photos, etc.
13. Give the book to your dad. He will treasure it always.
