Appropriate grades or age groups:
Preschool and Younger
Elementary School

Estimated time to complete activity or implement technique:
Varies

Materials needed (if applicable):
Paper and pen or computer Notebook

Activity set-up/instructions or description of technique:
Ask your child if they would like to tell you a story. Then write it down or type it into the computer. Keep the pages in a notebook and read the story back to them. I make sure to write it exactly as they say it, if it is a little silly they like it even better!

Other suggestions or comments:
Have them color or draw pictures to go along with the story, and put them in the notebook as well. Not only will you have fun book, but you will have a wonderful memory book as well.
