Activity set-up/instructions or description of technique:
Most libraries allow children to have their own library card at age 5. Our library offers several programs for children as young as 15-18 months old to adult! And these programs are free!We participate in every summer reading program. My children have been going to the library from day one, I went into labor with my first daughter while at the library picking up books on breast feeding. Taking children to the library also teaches them acceptible social skills as well as great reading skills.
