My son and I enjoy getting ready for quiet time. I usually read to him after lunch. We get his stuffed animals and a good book and we read the book to his stuffed animals. I pretend to make the animals giggle and he is very attentive because his animals are quiet while they are being read to.

Other suggestions or comments:
Always read to your child at the same time in the day and in the same spot. Turn the ringer off on your phone and turn off the T.V and radio.
