Estimated time to complete activity or implement technique:
15 minutes

Activity set-up/instructions or description of technique:
I have my 3 year old pick a book and she reads to me. She may pick a story that she knows by heart or she makes up an entire tale of her own it helps build her confidence and I'm always proud of her wild imagination. We sometimes use the tape recorder and she listens to her story and sometimes she continues on with the same characters in many more tales the tapes I will always treasure.

Other suggestions or comments:
I have her read to me while I'm taking a bath that way I can keep an eye on her and she thinks she is helping me.
