Activity set-up/instructions or description of technique:
Some parents use candy as an incentive or reward. I use books as a treat. Now reading is one of their favorite things to do. They will sit forever reading and I read to them too. If you treat reading as if it were one of the most fun things in the world your kids will see that and respond. It is also important for the children to see you reading books of your own. Sometime we have times where we each sit and read together with our own books. It's a great way to get closer to your children also.
