Tips to Get Kids to Read

Materials needed (if applicable):
construction paper, sissors, and books, books, books!!!

Activity set-up/instructions or description of technique:
Each time a child finishes reading a book(or in the case of a preschooler having one read to them)trace their hand on to construction paper. Write the title of the book and the author on the paper hand. After you collect a few,assemble them into a wreath with the fingers of the paper hands facing out. This is great any time of year- just change the color of the construction paper!Display proudly where everyone can see!
