Colored stick-on notes
markers

Activity set-up/instructions or description of technique:
To play this pre-reading skills game write words of common objects in your home one at a time on the sticky notes. Example: chair, table, bathroom, window, refrigerator,
Have your child find the item and say the word. Then stick the word to the item. The house may look a bit odd but it works!!!

Other suggestions or comments:
Be consistent and play often. Kids love this game and it empowers them.
