Materials needed (if applicable):
Snakelight or flexible flashlight, good books

Activity set-up/instructions or description of technique:
I started "Snakelight Storytime" with my kids a couple of years ago and they love. It's basically just storytime, but the lights are out and I wrap the snakelight around my neck and read the story. Simple but fun.

Other suggestions or comments:
We also have theme nights. On Tuesday nights we do "Tuesday Tape Night" and we read a book/audio tape combo. We also do "Saturday Science Night" and we read from some children's science books
