Activity set-up/instructions or description of technique:
Ensure that the child has plenty of reading materials available. Including books, magazines or even comics. There needs to be a wide variety of materials to interest the child. The important thing is to get them to open up to words and be able to connect them to what is on the page.

Other suggestions or comments:
Please read to your child daily.
The world opens up to them and stimulates their imagination, as well as being the springboard to eventually reading on their own.
