Ask your young child If they want to take a trip with Daddy, Get them in a comfortable positioin, and then give them a small preview of what the book is about and the kind of trip they have to get ready for, have them get a hat or old dress or something to do with what's in the book

Other suggestions or comments:
Have them close their eyes as they begin their trip, ALWAYS remember to use different VOICES for different Charecters...As they get to the point where they can read even if you have to help them, Get them to take you on a trip...AND remember ALWAYS enjoy the TRIP.....
