I like to read 1 or 2 of my old books per month.

Materials needed (if applicable):
Either take out your own old books or purchase reprints or copies from a book dealer.

Activity set-up/instructions or description of technique:
I like to talk about the things I liked best about the story, author, illustrator, etc. and see if my kids agree with me.

Other suggestions or comments:
My kids are always amazed when I tell about my life as a second grader then take out a book and read it with them. It makes it seem possible that I might actually have been a kid once!
