Common signs that children see daily -- picture of a stop sign, Cheerios box, M&M's package, etc.

Activity set-up/instructions or description of technique:
Chidren often feel that learning how to read can be undaunting. Here's a great solution to give them a great jump start. Show them signs that they can already read. For example, most children recognize "Cheerios" or a "stop" sign. Look around your home and surroundings. Even you will be amazed at how much they already know. This simple little activity will encourage them to continue the pursuit to read.
