Appropriate grades or age groups:
Preschool and Younger
Elementary School

Estimated time to complete activity or implement technique:
As long as the 'teacher' is available!

Materials needed (if applicable):
Books, pillows, eyes, ears and a good imagination.

Activity set-up/instructions or description of technique:
One child is the 'teacher' and the other kids or adults sit in a circle or rest on pillows for story time. The 'teacher' reads the books and shows each picture to the audience.

Other suggestions or comments:
The 'teacher' can lead the group with questions about the story, or ask the audience to act out parts of the book. The next book can have a different 'teacher'. That way, each participant can roll-play as leader of the group, and team member.
