Preschool and Younger

Materials needed (if applicable):
- A good sense of humor
- A lack of inhibition
- A flexible voicebox
- A good imagination

Activity set-up/instructions or description of technique:
- Decide on a voice for each character in the book (this works particularly well with books that have talking animals.)
- Read the book through using the various voices while identifying the characters.
- Read the book through again using the various voices, but this time have your kids guess which character is speaking based on the voice you use alone.
