Appropriate grades or age groups:
Preschool and Younger
Elementary School
Middle School

Estimated time to complete activity or implement technique:
20-30 minutes

Materials needed (if applicable):
Books!

Activity set-up/instructions or description of technique:
A nice way to encourage children to read is to READ WITH THEM! Take turns - parent reads one page/child reads the next. As the reading level increases, increase the amount of reading.

Other suggestions or comments:
I like to save Classics for this, especially reserving classics that I never read as a child so I enjoy the story as well!
