Description of lunch box recipe:
This works well as an old-fashioned, mid-morning snack. I usually make a 1/2 sandwich for each child.

Directions:
Make a 1/2 sandwich with either butter (sometimes adding sugar or honey or raisins) or jam.

Other suggestions and comments:
We began doing this when my daughter was reading the Little House on the Prairie series.
