Description of celebration or activity:
A beach, lake or pond can be the perfect setting for your end-of-school celebration.
A day at the beach is easy and inexpensive to organize. It shouldn't be too hard to get the school's budget to include an extra day's rental of the school buses. And students and teachers can brown-bag their lunch or buy what they need from the snack bar (if available).
Put on your bathing suit, pack a towel and some sunscreen and your school is ready to enjoy a relaxing and well-deserved day of fun. Don't forget the volleyball and a few frisbees.

Setting up or preparing for this celebration or activity:
Things you will need:
a beach;
transportation to the beach;
a bathing suit;
a towel;
sunscreen;
food for lunch;
volleyballs, frisbees, etc.
