Description of stress-relief technique for busy parents:
Attention single moms! It's no good for you or your children to sit at home and feel sorry for yourself that you're stuck doing this parenting thing alone. Get out there and find yourself a good support group.
It's not always easy getting yourself motivated to take the initiative. But I think that you'll find that once you do, you'll realize that you're not all alone. There is help available, and you should take advantage of it.
Your insurance company can be a good place to start. Many feature a variety of self-improvement programs at no cost to you. Your local library is another great place for information on support groups in your area as well as searching the Internet. Your local church or synagogue may also have a group that would be the right fit for you. Getting out there is half the battle. Who knows? You may be destined to sit next to the perfect single dad.
