Description of stress-relief technique for busy parents:
When was the last time you had lunch with your best friend? Or better yet, did some serious shopping together? Life is busy for the working mom with kids, but best friends need love too!
It's a tough challenge juggling day care, a full-time job and those annoying chores like grocery shopping and cleaning the bathroom. But it's important for you and important to your friends to still make time for girl talk. It can be especially challenging when your best friend doesn't have any children. Even though she loves you dearly, she can sometimes feel neglected from lack of time and all that baby talk!
Call her up and have lunch together. Maybe you can even squeeze in some quality shopping time. Tell her the kids are great but that you really want to talk about what's going on in her life. Let her know that she's still important to you and you'll feel good at the same time.
