General purpose of letter:
This letter is to reward your child for being good and encourage him/her to continue to be good by rewarding with a treat.

Sample letter:

Dear Ms. ________,

Thank you for your e-mail informing us that _______ is working hard at sorting and able to match like objects.
_______ is excited about school and promised to continue being a good girl/boy by listening to her/his teachers, following instructions and not playing in the bathroom.
I have enclosed $1.00 for her/his ice cream treat today because she/he has been good.
Thank you very much.
