General purpose of letter:
This is a sample letter for when you have not received a response concerning a previous letter.
If you feel too much time has passed, then call and ask if your original letter was received and when you can expect to hear from them. If your request still goes unanswered then you may want to write again. Enclose a copy of the original request with this letter. Don't send your only copy -- you will always need to have a copy for your records.
