Elementary School

Description of Easter celebration or activity:
This activity is great for a sunny Easter day. Adults will prepare a list of 10 (Easter-themed) items with clues as to where they might be found in the yard. For instance: a chocolate bunny could be one of the items and clues might read "walk toward the swingset, this chocolate bunny loves to climb ladders" (the bunny might be perched at the top of the slide).

Have the kids divide into two teams and place two of each item at every location. The first team to find all the Easter items wins.

Setting up and preparing for this celebration or activity:
Collect your Easter scavenger hunt items (two of each) beforehand and think out where you will hide them.

Make the directions fairly straightforward (depending on the age of the kids participating) and fun.

Other suggestions or comments:
On a rainy day, this activity can take place indoors, but be prepared for the kids to mess up the house!
