Description of Easter celebration or activity:
The Easter Bunny brings a basket of springtime to our house each year. Instead of candy and colored eggs, our basket is filled with a bouquet of fresh flowers, some exotic fresh fruit (usually something odd like starfruit or uglyfruit, but sometimes just beautiful fresh strawberries), and a freshly baked traditional Polish Easter bread (made with poppyseeds--the seeds symbolizing for us spring and planting). Sometimes other foods and other spring-like items are in the basket too (for example, a small bird feeder was in our basket one year). After our breakfast of the foods in the basket, the whole family goes for a nature walk together to look for signs of spring.

We started this tradition when our children were toddlers, and now that they're teenagers they still look forward to the whole day.
