Description of game:
Go-moku (also known as "5 in a Row") is a two player game where the object is to place 5 counters in a horizontal, vertical or diagonal row on a 19 x 19 grid. It is a topological game, where counter placement and spacial relationships are all important. It is fairly easy to learn, but can be quite sophisticated in execution, appropriate for both beginning and advanced students. It also provides an introduction to the truly extraordinary game of "Go".
