Describe the best gift you (as a mom) ever received or gave to your mother:
My 5 year old daughter gave out tea cups and saucers to her grandmothers and me.

What made this gift extra-special?
We went to a local thrift store and found some china cups and saucers. We made finger sandwiches of tuna, egg salad, and peanut butter & jelly. She had so much fun and was so excited! We pulled out my silver tea set and made hot tea. We had tea cookies and mints and other candies. We got a pretty table cloth and matching napkins. She helped prepair everything, even washed the cups! She picked out a new dress, and put on some make-up and perfume. We wrapped their other gifts and put them at their seats. As they arrived, she greeted them at the door with hugs and kisses and a great big "Happy Mother's Day!"

Other comments or suggestions:
They had so much fun and she just glowed. It was really her idea, as they were told! It is now a yearly thing we do, Mother's Day tea is the thing to do!
