Describe the best gift you (as a mom) ever received or gave to your mother:
A few years back, I went to my mom's house when she was out. I put a note on her door that had a poem with a clue, that led her to her oven, where I made her a really nice dinner. From there, another poem and clue to her dining room, where I had a Mom heart keychain made for her. From there, another poem and clue to the living room, where an outfit was hidden. And a final clue to her bedroom, where there were 2 dozen red carnations (her favorite). She said she had never gotten such a thoughtful gift.

What made this gift extra-special?
The fact that I sat and thought it out, and that they were gifts that she doesn't always give herself, since she is alone and still working.
