Describe the best gift you (as a mom) ever received or gave to your mother:
What made this gift extra-special?
Other comments or suggestions:
How about taking a class together? This is especially good for teen/adult children and their parents. It could be gourmet cooking, auto mechanics, art appreciation, sewing, ceramics...virtually anything based upon mutual interests. The beauty of it is, it involves regular scheduled time together, and possibly even more time if you work to complete projects.
Another way to share talents and spend time together is to volunteer on a social service project. Sort of a Dynamic Duo approach.
What better day to discuss such ideas than Mother's Day, over a dinner cooked by anyone but Mom, even if it's pizza with home delivery.
