Every day I enjoy my cup of morning coffee. I delighted so much in this daily ritual, my son remarked. His observations were quite correct. I jump start my day with a great cup of java and a read of the morning paper. It is the rare moment I have to myself. One Mother's Day, my son surprised me with a coffee grinder as a gift. At first I thought, "Oh no, not another one of those trendy, cute gadgets that land somewhere in a back cabinet." However,the "gift" came from the heart of my son and at the very least, I would give it a shot. Well, before long I became acquainted with the savory taste of gormet coffees. The aroma alone is worth the effort of freshly ground coffee. These days, with my son now away at college, can you guess where my thoughts turn while I read my morning paper and sip my delicious cup of coffee?
