What made this gift extra-special?
This is an idea for something inexpensive, easy, and possibly sentimental. You could use buttons from clothing a child has outgrown!
Arrange buttons on an inexpensive picture frame (wood, if possible). Lift each button and glue down with craft glue. Allow to dry overnight; insert a nice picture. Wrap in tissue for your loved one!
Other comments or suggestions:
Assorted buttons can sometimes be found in thrift shops, or at craft stores. You can also ask people to save 'em for you.
