Project instructions or description of technique:
Once your child begins to count, they'll want to count everything they see. Make a game out of counting on the way to the park, grocery store or drive in the car. The more practice the better!

1. Encourage your child to count.

2. Count the trees, mailboxes, houses, cars on your block. How many red cars can your child spot?

3. Count the people in line at the store. How many are smiling?

4. Count the number of people on the bus or train.

5. Make up counting songs to sing along with your child.

6. Count, count, and count!
