Project instructions or description:
Appreciating and being exposed to quality art may spark a child's innate artistic talents. So, take your kids' to see the best!

1. When your child is very young, begin visiting your local art museums, galleries and outdoor art shows.

2. Check out what types of children's programs your local art museums offer and sign your kids up!

3. Introduce your child to your favorite artists, explain why you like their work and how it makes you feel.

4. Encourage your kids to express how the work makes them feel. Do they see something that you don??

5. Spend time at a particular piece of art that your child likes and let them sketch the images that they're inspired by.

8. Don? be in a rush when viewing art. Let your kids spend time and develop the discipline to view art and make careful observations.

9. Does your child? work remind you of a particular artist, if so, introduce your child to that person? work. Point out similarities!

10. Look for exhibitions coming to your town, check out your local library or search the web for famous artists. There are interesting sites where your child can paint like an impressionist or cubist!

11. Select art books to view at home and focus on the appreciation of art rather than being able to create like a famous artist.

12. To become a master, one dedicates a lifetime to his or her work. Make sure your child understands that not every piece of art they create has to be perfect.

13. If your child shows a real interest, encourage him or her to take art classes.
